I am usually a lone wolf (I don't have any friends) but while travelling in the Philippines it is important to have a team to help you enjoy your time, save money, and not get scammed.  I learned the hard way when I went to the beach alone and got harassed endlessly about buying alcohol but when I went back to the same beach with my team of fitness addicts it was a completely different vibe and we had a magnificent time.  Lone wolf does not work while you are in a foreign country!
