A lot of times selfishness is viewed as a negative trait to have, but in my experience there is a time and a place to be selfish.  My story of growing up with a narcissist father is a common problem experienced and being to nice of a person and wanting to please the narcissist only leads to disappointment and heartache.  The key is to "focus on yourself" because there is nothing selfish about doing what is right for yourself and making the decisions that will benefit your future.  My dumbass decisions have led me to having to deal with so many unnecessary regrets.  I did not make this video as a pity party but rather to enlighten people in the same situation and learn from the mistakes I made.  Everyone has an opinion about what you should do with your life but you need to "focus on yourself"
